The city of Innsmouth does not exist. It appears in the works of H. P. Lovecraft, a writer of occult horror who wrote his stories between the 1920's and 30's.

As I was working with these photographs i found that I kept thinking of that bleak and desolute town.

They are not supposed to be a recreation of innsmouth, but I found the vision I had of Lovecraft's fabled city and the pictures as they unfoulded to be uncomfortably similar.

If you are not familiar with his work, ignore it and visit a town of your own imagination.
